FAQ

What is drawdown?

The drop from a peak in your account balance to the lowest point before a new peak. A 25% drawdown means your account is down 25% from its highest point.

Why does recovery require more than the drawdown?

Math. Lose 50% → you need +100% to break even. Lose 20% → you need +25%. The deeper the drawdown, the more disproportionate the recovery.

How long is a typical losing streak?

Even systems with 60% win rate routinely produce streaks of 6-8 losses. The calculator shows the account impact so you can size risk that survives those streaks.
